originally designed by its namesake, sir francis drake, this coffee table provided both a stately elegance and a subtle air of informality to his captain’s quarters while circumnavigating the globe in 1580. note: these are reproductions and not 400+ year old originals. he later died of dysentery, which was unrelated to his furniture-making.
